Protect the Lowcountry we love

Once it's paved over, it's gone for good.

Charleston County is growing fast. Renewal protects marshes, farmland, forests, rivers and creeks for our kids and grandkids - and it keeps the rate we already pay.

Accountability built in.

Renewal keeps public oversight at the center of every project and every dollar.

  • Annual independent audits

Every dollar is independently audited, every year.

  • Projects listed on the ballot

Voters can see the work the renewal will fund.

  • Non-residents pay over half

Visitors help fund the roads and places they use.

  • Local dollars go farther

County funding can be matched by state and federal funds.

  • Not a tax increase

Questions 1 & 2 continue the same rate already in place.

  • Public input shapes the work

Projects are chosen with residents' priorities in mind.

Make your plan
